It is less than 4 days since both these teams were in action in the premier soccer league. For AmaZulu, the weekend is one they will be looking forget in a hurry. They lost to TS Galaxy by 2-0 this after a win in the Nedbank Cup against Sekhukhune United. That loss saw them drop down to 12th position, level on points with Swallows. 

Polokwane on the other hand will have fond memories of this weekend's clash after they were able to secure all three points against struggling Chippa United. The win cemented their position in the league, they currently sit 10th a single point behind TS Galaxy and two points ahead of Royal AM. It is not a prestigious position but one that guarantees DSTV Premiership Football for next season and keeps the hopes of finishing in the top 8 alive. They will look to cement their position even further when they come out to face AmaZulu on Tuesday evening.

Kaizer Chiefs can approach this fixture confidently knowing that they have won all 4 previous meetings with Stellenbosch, across all competitions. As much as that might be a confidence booster. I was one of those who made the mistake of choosing Orlando Pirates over Sekhukhune United this weekend. To my surprise Sekhukhune United walked away with all three points and leap frogged Orlando Pirates to sit 3rd in the league, only separated by goal difference.

Now they turn their sights to Cape Town City who sit in 6th position. These two teams are separated by one point. Although Sekhukhune United have a game in hand, they will know how important a win against this opponent will be. Especially if results elsewhere Favour Sekhukhune United.
