Kaizer Chiefs Pre-season Tour

Team News

Kaizer Chiefs have gone into the market and acquired the services of Coach Nasreddine Nabi. The Tunisian comes with a long cv that includes time spent at Young African, Al-Merrikh SC,  Ismaily and Al-Hilal to name a few. His coaching journey began with Al-Ahli Benghazi in April of 2013. The highlight of his career has to be the time spent at FAR Rabat, where he joined in 2017 and average 2,26 points per match in 38 matches with Far Rabat. Former Kaizer Chiefs Head Coach Molefi Ntseki warned Coach Nabi that Kaizer Chiefs fans will not take failure lightly. He warned of the backlash that Coaching staff receive from the Khosi nation and how that can negatively affect the teams momentum.

The Khosi nation has seen strong links for a move to Kaizer Chiefs for Chippa United's Stanley Nwabali. Amongst the rumours, is Fiacre Ntwari of  TS Galaxy's links to Kaizer Chiefs. This has driven some backlash from some fans saying that Coach Nabi has blundered the goal keeping transfer, with many preferring Nigerian shot stopper instead of Fiacre Ntwari.

This season will be the beginning of a new era for Kaizer Chiefs. The new coaching staff have a mountain to climb, with the departure of key players like Keagan Dolly, and Sifiso Hlanti. Njabulo Ncgobo has left to join Sekhukhune United and Richards bay has acquired the services of Siyethemba Sithebe.  New faces at the club may be just what Amakhosi need to catch up to their cross town rivals.
