Leicester City are yet to register their first win since being promoted from the championship. While Aston Villa did suffer a defeat to Arsenal the last time out. A win for Villa will take them closer to where they want to be, while a win for Leicester would Cement that they are back and ready to trade punches with the big boys. Either way, be ready for a world class show down.

Here are a few markets to consider adding to your bet slip...

Leicester vs Aston Villa Betting Tips

Team News

Leicester City have no fresh injuries ahead of Saturday's Premier League test against Aston Villa, says Manager Steve Cooper.

Matty Cash picked up an injury last time out against Arsenal, he is expected to miss this away match against Leicester City.

Leicester City Predicted Line-up (3-4-3): Hermansen, Faes, Vestergaard, Justin, Kristiansen, Ndidi, Winks, Issahaku, Decordova-Reid, Vardy, Buonanotte.

Aston Villa Predicted Line-up (4-4-2): Martinez, Nedeljkovic, Konsa, Torres, Digne, McGinn, Tielemans, Onana, Bailey, Rogers, Watkins.

Anytime Goalscorer - Jamie Vardy 53/20

Leicester's return to the premier league has been much anticipated since they dropped down to the championship in the 2022/2023 season alongside Leeds and Southampton. That season they fall short by two points with Everton, beating the drop ahead of Leicester City. They finished last season top of the championship with an impressive 97 points. They had the divisions best defence, conceding 41 goals in 46 matches. The registered 31 wins, 4 draws and 11 losses.

Jamie Vardy was the catalyst for their return to the big time, scoring 18 goals in the championship to see his beloved Leicester City rise up to the Pinnacle of English football. He has already opened his account for this season and he is definitely a threat going forward. I expect him to score goals this season like he never left the top flight.

3 Way - Aston Villa 19/25

Aston Villa started the season off brightly with a win against West Ham, however, this win was short lived because they would then lose to Arsenal in their next game. a result that has slowed their progress down, especially when considering how well they performed against Arsenal last season. Unai Emery has taken Villa back into the UEFA Champions League, a competition they won ages ago. While they wait for that competition to kick off, all of Unai Emery's attention will be on the Premier League and this match is a must win for them away at Villa Park.

Leicester Blew Tranmere away in the EFL Cup, they won by 3-0. Steve Cooper was able to reset key players like Jamie Vardy a break. he also lined up in a 4-4-2 instead of the 3-4-3 his team is known for. Aston Villa didn't have to play in the EFL Cup this week, so their players will be well rested and ready for the challenge. Although Leicester rested key players, they don't have the fire power to trouble Aston Villa and that is why, I am convinced that this will be a Villa win.
