Man Utd vs Liverpool Prediction: Salah can strike again at Old Trafford
Man Utd return to Premier League action after their late defeat to Brighton last time out, and they face Liverpool on Sunday in what should be a belting game. Arne Slot will take charge of his side for the first time in one of these games, while Erik ten Hag will hope to secure another win over the Reds, having beaten them in the FA Cup quarter-final last year.

Manchester United vs Liverpool Betting Tips
Team News
Rasmus Hojlund remains out for Man Utd, but should be fit after the international break. Meanwhile, Mason Mount is also out having picked up an issue at Brighton, joining Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw and Leny Yoro on the sidelines.
Federico Chiesa trained with Liverpool for the first time on Friday but is unlikely to make the squad for this match, while Curtis Jones missed training on the same day, so is unlikely to feature at Old Trafford.
Man Utd are priced at 27/10 to win this game, with Liverpool available at 17/20. A draw is 16/5, over 2.5 goals is 21/50 and BTTS is 11/25.
Over 2.5 goals @ 21/50
I mean look at these two teams. We should get a lot of goals in this one and I’m hoping for an end-to-end encounter at Old Trafford. Ten Hag has tried to instill a higher press this season in a 4-4-2 shape and I think they could cause Liverpool problems, especially if the visitors try to dominate possession.
Bruno Fernades will once again be key, while Liverpool’s attack needs no introduction. Which ever three Slot decides to play on Sunday, they will pose a threat, with Diogo Jota looking likely to lead the line. United’s defence still needs work, so I think we will be in for a treat, especially after the 4-3 scoreline in the FA Cup last term.
Mo Salah to score anytime @ 61/50
Mo Salah has a handy knack of scoring against Manchester United, and at Old Trafford. He has scored 11 goals in 14 Premier League matches against them, and given United are still working out what their best back four looks like, I’d back the Egyptian to cause them problems again.
He’s also Liverpool’s designated penalty taker and has scored in each of his last four league visits to Old Trafford. In fact, in those four matches he has notched six times. Let’s back him to find the net again.
