Ten Hag will have to do it without his star players once again on Saturday at Old Trafford. Although United has no wins in their last five matches across all competitions. They have no losses to Brentford in each of their last three meetings. At Old Trafford Brentford have not managed a win against Manchester United dating back to 2021. United won each of the last three matches played between these two sides at Old Trafford. Conceding just once, that was in October of 2023.

United has dominated this fixture in the past and Thomas Frank will be aware of that going into this tie. In their last six meetings, United has only lost one. Although they are coming off the back of two draws, once in the Premier League and the other in the Europa league. United have the pedigree to take this result.

Brentford have struggled against the big teams this season,. Losing to Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs. Although they won their last match 5 - 3 against Wolves, United's defence won't leak three goals like wolves did. Add to that along injury list and a United team looking for redemption. It is hard to back Brentford to win this match.
