It is very easy to back Manchester City to win this match. However, Bournemouth might shock you on Saturday when these two teams meet on the pitch. There is a few factors that could play into Bournemouth's favour. Without Rodri, Manchester City has been forced to play Gundogan a lot deeper taking him out of the equation as a goal threat. Kovacic does occupy that position in the premier league however, he is not a like for like replacement for Rodri. With Savinho picking up an injury in the EFL Cup, it has left a gapping hole on the right side of City's attack. Oscar Bobb is not available to fill the gap and Doku himself is missing on the left. The left won't be a headache as long as Mateus Nunes remains fit. City's injury list has prompted Pep Guardiola to say on the record that he is now down to 13 men. A lot will be expected from the young players over the next few weeks.
Bournemouth have turned their form around in recent matches. they have no losses in their last two matches. They have two wins in their last four and they have managed to beat Arsenal at home. The Cherries are a tough nut to crack, Chelsea almost played out to a draw away to Bournemouth. A late goal from Nkunku saved them.
Bournemouth will give City a tough time and that is why a double chance will be the most sensible bet.
