Crystal Palace vs Manchester United Betting Tips

Team News

Eddie Nketiah scored his first Palace goal last time out in the EFL Cup. He will be Crystal Palace's focal point in attack in this weekends clash with United. Coach Oliver Glasner has also sung the praises for Eze who was impressive in the EFL Cup.

Erik Ten Hag made a change midweek to his line up that seems to have brought the team to live, starting with a front three of Rashford, Garnarcho and Antony over the Rashford, Zirkzee and Diallo front three he has been fielding in the Premier League. It seems to have clicked, and may convince Erik Ten Hag to field them once again in a trio. Hojlund is expected to feature after returning from injury.

Crystal Palace's Predicted Line-up (3-4-3-1): Henderson; Richards, Guehi, Lacroix, Mitchell, Kamada, Lerma, Munoz, Eze, Nketiah, Mateta

Manchester United's Predicted Line-up (4-2-3-1): Onana; Mazraoui, De Ligt, Martinez, Dalot; Ugarte, Mainoo; Amad, Fernandes, Garnacho; Hojlund

3 Way - Manchester United 69/50

Crystal Palace are still to register their first win of the season. They sit 16th on the log standings with a goal difference of 3 and two points on the table. Their last two Premier League results ended in draws, with both Chelsea and Leicester failing to collect maximum points against Crystal Palace. They did go back to winning ways, when they played in the EFL Cup against Queens Park Rangers.

Manchester United enjoyed their first EFL Cup match of the season with a 7-0 win against Barnsley. It was well earned after they dominated the fixture and looked dangerous every time they were on the ball. That midweek result now means that Manchester United has scored 10 goals without reply in their last two matches.

The last time these two teams met, Crystal Palace won by four goals to nil. United, went the whole of last season without defeating Crystal Palace in the league. The only win United of last season against Crystal Palace, came in the EFL Cup. United has struggled away to palace for a few seasons. They last won, away to Palace in the 2020/21 season. Ten Hag and his boys look ready to break that wait for a win at Palace this weekend.
