They did surprise everyone with draws away to Liverpool and Arsenal. That was followed by a win at home against Southampton before Brighton stopped their new found form with an away win at Old Trafford.

With their attention now fixed on the UEFA Europa League, a win in this match would see them possibly finishing in the top four of this season's UEFA Europa League phase of the competition. This would help the doubts and worries around the club settle down as they enter a crucial time in the season.
