It has been a difficult start for Both Mallorca and Sevilla this season, with both sides failing to register a win their first two league games. Sevilla finished in 14 last season and Mallorca finished in 15th. They are on the decline and something will have to change if they are going to climb back up the table and start qualifying for Europe again.

Here are a few markets to consider adding to your bet slip...

Mallorca vs Sevilla Betting Tips

Team News

Coach Garcia Pimienta is expected to reshuffle the pack against of his clash with Mallorca. Kike Salas and Juanli Sanchez will not be available after picking up injuries against Villarreal on the weekend. Chidera Ejuke and Marcao are expected to start for Sevilla in their places.

Coach Jagoba Arrate is expected to field the same side for a third weekend in a row.

Sevilla Predicted Line-up (4-3-3): Nyland, Pedrosa, Marcao, Bade, Carmona, Niguez, Agoume, Sanchez, Ocampos, Romero, Lukebakio

Mallorca Predicted Line-up (4-3-3): Grief, Mojica, Raillo, Valjent, Maffeo, Darder, Mascarell, Costa, Rodriguez, Muriqi, Asano

3 Way - Draw 21/10

Like mentioned in the Intro, these two teams are on a decline, especially when considering that Sevilla are considered the undisputed Champions of the UEFA Europa League. The Seven time UEFA Europa League champions last won it in the 2022/23 season. This season they will not be playing their football in Europe's continental competitions. They have started the season off in disappointing fashion. A draw to Las Palmas and a Loss to Villarreal has sent shock waves through the fan base.

Mallorca held Real Madrid to a draw in the opening game of the season. A lot was expected from them after that encounter, especially after they had two big changes created, more expected goals than Real Madrid in that game, while registering one shot fewer on target than the Madrid Galacticos. They achieved all of this while maintaining 34% of the possession. They also managed to secure an equaliser at the start of the second half. All the signs were there of how good this team can be, however, They were outplayed by Osasuna on Matchday two. Osasuna took more shots at goal, with 15 shots to Mallorca's 10. They worked the Osasuna goal keeper once. It is clear for anyone following La Liga that Mallorca will have an inconsistent season.

The head to head statistics state that both teams have no wins in their last three matches. They both have not kept a clean sheet in their last three matches with Sevilla  failing to keep a clean sheet in their last four matches. Results between these two sides were varied last season, with Sevilla winning at home and Mallorca also winning at home. To back anyone of these sides would be difficult when considering that they both do not inspire any confidence at the moment. Hence I have opted to back the draw.
