Mexico vs Brazil Prediction: Endrick to shine in warm up game
Brazil have two warm-up matches left before they get their Copa America campaign underway, and they face Mexico on Saturday night. It promises to be a cracking tie, as Brazil last drew 3-3 with Spain in March, while Mexico need to bounce back having been hammered 4-0 by Uruguay on Thursday.

Jaime Lozano is almost certainly going to make drastic changes from the team that was hammered by Uruguay, with Santiago Gimenez likely to be introduced at centre-forward.
Despite having only four goals in 26 international appearances, Gimenez enjoyed a standout 2023-24 season at club level, scoring 26 goals in 41 matches for Feyenoord. Alexis Vega and Luis Romo are also expected to start, while West Ham’s Edson Alvarez will feature in the centre of the park.
Eder Militao, Vinicius Junior, and Rodrygo are all poised to be involved, having returned to international duty in high spirits after winning the Champions League with Real Madrid last weekend. 17-year-old star Endrick could start this one and pick up his fifth-cap, while Bruno Guimaraes, Douglas Luiz, and Lucas Paqueta are set to feature alongside goalkeeper Alisson.
Mexico are priced at 23/5 to win this game, with Brazil the favourites at 53/100. A draw can be backed at 31/10, BTTS is 89/100 and over 2.5 goals is 39/50.
Brazil win to nil @ 3/2
Brazil took on both Spain and England in March, and did extremely well in both matches. The 3-3 draw with Spain was an entertaining affair, full of goals, as Brazil’s attacking talent shone, while they beat England 1-0 at Wembley, as Endrick scored at the home of football.
Those two results show where Brazil are at right now, and they remain one of the best international teams in world football. Meanwhile, Mexico were humiliated by Marcelo Bielsa’s Uruguay last time out, and look some way off that elite level.
Mexico have lost three of their last seven games without scoring, and I believe given the quality on show from Brazil, they will fail to find the net again. There’s just too big a gap between the two squads at this moment in time.
Endrick to score anytime @ 7/4
This guy. It feels like he has been made in a simulator. He is the perfect player for Brazil, and now he is set to shine in his first major tournament since breaking into the squad. It’s been an interesting few months for Endrick, but that goal at Wembley propelled him towards the starting XI.
Given the Real Madrid stars may not be fully fit to start, I think backing Endrick to find the net at some point during this game makes perfect sense. He could even be the breakout star of the 2024 Copa America if he impresses in these two warm-up matches.
