Namibia will look to draw from their success at the Africa Cup of Nations as inspiration for these World Cup qualifiers. Although they did not win the tournament, they were one of the surprise packages at the tournament in 2024. They managed to make it out of the group stages, despite a draw and a loss to South Africa. They have had some good fortune with their match against Equatorial Guinea having been forfeited, they capitalised in their second game with a win against SA Tome and Principe.
This will be their first meeting in recent history, Namibia are in troublesome form. They have no wins in their last three matches. Liberia have no loses in their last two matches, however, they have struggled in the World Cup qualifiers. They have won one and lost one. The one they have won was through forfeit against Equatorial Guinea. They face a big test in Namibia with a lot to play for and the opportunity to stay with in reach of qualification if this result does not go, completely South.
Win Probability leans firmly in Namibia's favour at 47% and 30% in favour of the draw, 23% in favour of a Liberia win. For this match, I will back the win probability and go with Namibia.

With no goals in their last four outings, it is hard to imagine Liberia posing a goal threat against Namibia who themselves have struggled to keep clean sheets in their recent matches. The difference being Namibia had to keep clean sheets against, Angola, Mali, South Africa and Tunisia in the CAF Africa Cup of Nations while Liberia was playing the CAF Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers. It is not the same kind of competition. Liberia was failing to score against Djibouti and Malawi. It will take some thing special for them to trouble Namibia.
