Dortmund are through to the finals of this year’s UEFA Champions League final against all odds. They managed to beat a Paris Saint-Germain side that has the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele in their ranks. One can’t help but feel a little nostalgic about the possibility of a 2013 Uefa Champions League final being repeated over a decade on from that all German final. Bayern just needs to find a way against the mighty Madrid

Here are few markets to consider adding to your bet slip...

3 Way - Bayern Munich 11/4

An all German final may be on the cards after Dortmund pulled off a massive result against Kylian Mbappe's Paris Saint- Germain. I might be jumping the gun, but almost a decade on from that Final in 2013, Dortmund are in the final and Bayern are playing Real Madrid, in a semi final that Bayern have nothing to lose from. They are on the brink of going trophies this season. They need something they can take home to the millions of Bavarian fans back home.

Real Madrid on the other hand, is a team that doesn't know when they are beaten in this competition. They knocked Manchester City out of this competition on penalties after a thrilling first leg in Spain and a muted meeting in England. Regardless of which side of the fence you find yourself on, one thing is for sure, Real Madrid are the kings of the UEFA Champions League.

Bayern Munich haven't lost to Real Madrid since they last met in April of 2018 in the UEFA Champions League. These teams have met three times since then, including the first leg thriller we witnessed in Germany last week. With the away goal rule no longer applying to the UEFA Champions League, no team holds an advantage on the score board going into the second leg. Both teams have to take of their gloves and go for it, or else they risk playing extra time and going onto penalties for a place in this years final.

Bayern are team with nothing to lose. They are dangerous,  Carlo Ancelotti and his men are seasoned campaigners in this competition, however, event they have suffered their fair share of defeats. Thomas Tuchel has made it to the final twice before. He will know what is required from him. The question is. Will it be enough as the pressure mounts on his side to perform against Europe’s most successful team? I wouldn’t put it past him.
