If you feel like you've seen this fixture somewhere else before, I do not blame you. These two teams met 3 days ago on the weekend. Mamelodi Sundowns walked away with all three points and a clean sheet.

Here are few markets to consider adding to your bet slip...

Royal Am vs Mamelodi Sundowns Betting Tips

  • Both Teams to Score - 67/100

3 Way - Mamelodi Sundowns 7/20

Royal Am are in for another defeat as they prepare to face Mamelodi Sundowns for the second time in less than 5 days. The KZN outfit has four straight losses in their last five matches. Including a 1-0 loss, the last time out to Mamelodi Sundonwns. For the Pretoria giants, who have already been crowned champions, this is not a crucial result in the larger context of things. However, they will want to walk away victorious to maintain their unbeaten record this season and their lowest goals conceded in a single season tally.

It was no surprise to see their last outing end in a Sundowns win, as Royal Am lost by the odd goal. This result has now made Royal Am vulnerable to relegation, if results elsewhere, are to go against them. This was compounded by Richards Bay's win last time out against Orlando Pirates against all the odds. Richards Bay face Stellenbosch next and if they continue their run of slaying Giants. This could mean the end for Royal Am.

The Head to Head statistics point nothing less than a Mamelodi Sundowns win. Sundowns has not lost to this opponent in their last 8 meetings in a row, this includes 7 straight wins. Royal Am have no wins in their last 5 matches in all competitions. They not been able to score any goals in their last 5 matches. They have been the first team to concede in all 5 of their previous matches, and they have not kept a clean sheet in any of their last 8 matches. The last time Royal AM was able to keep a clean sheet was in March of this year. When they came across Cape Town City and won by 2-0. It has been a horrible run to the end of the season for the KZN outfit and at this point, they expect another disappointing result, when the champions visit on Tuesday night.

Both Teams to Score - No 33/50

Another aspect of Mamelodi Sundown's dominance this season has been their exceptional work in defence. They have kept things tight at the back and only conceded 9 goals all season. For the to set an all time record, they will need to concede less then 10 goals for this season. Royal Am can expect another defensive master class when they face Pretoria's finest. Like I mentioned above, for Mamelodi Sundowns, it is no longer about winning the title, it is about setting as many records as possible. If the first leg is anything to be taken as reference, this will be another 1-0 to Mamelodi Sundowns.
