Manchester City vs Tottenham Predictions: Pep’s nightmare continues

City have four losses in their last four matches, which if you follow their story, has not happened under Pep's watch. This is unfamiliar territory for pep and his team and to make matters worse they face Tottenham Hotspurs which is a formidable opponent.

Manchester City have been boosted by the recent news about their manager signing an extension. This will serve as reassurance that they will be in good hands for another season. However, they still have to get themselves out of the recent bad run of results. No wins in the last four and  a match against the team that started that bad run for them. they'll be hoping things be different this time around.

Spurs have also gone through some difficult times. They have two losses in a row across all competitions and they have managed to win the games where nobody expected them to be victorious. For example, they won against Aston Villa and Manchester City but lost to Crystal Palace, Galarasaray and Ipswich town. This duality has caused confusion amongst sports fans and sports punters. On the one side if you back Spurs and they are favourites, they lose. If you back spurs and they are the under dogs, they win.

It important to remember that, City didn't lose to Spurs in the Premier League last season, with a draw at the Etihad and two wins at the London stadium. Spurs have not won away to City since February of 2022. They have met twice since as the Etihad with one draw and one win for City. I recommend the safe bet, double chance home or draw.
